Vow announced their $US6m raise today. I want to share my investment notes.
Round 1 decision (Aug 2019): I was drinking with Alfred Lo at my run-down office (notice the ceiling is falling apart). Alfred told me he is investing in Vow. I met with George and Tim the next day (right before they flew to the US) and made a commitment to invest.
Pro tip: follow smarter investors who you trust, blindly. Especially someone like Alfred.
Round 2 decision (Feb 2020): The #LTG (long term greedy) group visited the Vow facility for a tour. I was like “WOW, this team is very capital efficient, and their hustle is world class”.
Pro tip: site visit can give you very good insights, don’t be lazy and go visit some sites.
